In my mother's condo, will be my family: My mother Jeannie, my brother Eric, father Jim, his sister (my aunt) Mel, Mel's boyfriend Steve, and my mother's sister (my aunt) Julie.
At my house so far are Patrik's mother (finger's crossed), her name is Monika, and she will be flying in from Slovakia. Also staying at my house is Amy, my best friend since I was in 7th grade, and the best tennis partner anyone could ask for. I'm still hoping that her husband Mike comes, too.
Possibly Kathleen will be staying with us as well, if she comes back to KW one more time (she was just here for Thanksgiving)? Kathleen is my old roommate and my world traveling friend (we went to Europe for a month together, she has visited me when I lived in Korea, and I visited her when she lived in Italy).
My local friend, Julie (a riot with a great heart), will be bringing a friend or two with her to the wedding.
My friends, Tyler and Melissa, expressed desire in totally doing up Key West and having a truly quality week of relaxation. Melissa and I have been best chums ever since our first day of college at Evergreen, and we were college roomies. Melissa's also my "life coach". :) You're all gonna love Tyler!
Vicki and Flynn, one of the most sacred of institutions in my unstable life, have been helping me move since 1998. Vicki and Flynn lived right next door to me in the Seattle U-District's infamous Chai Tai Apartments (somehow a legitimate business despite the rats, red mold, and barf on the wall between our apartment doors)!
Other people that were invited, but haven't RSVP'd, and will definitely be in our thoughts on our Special Day:
My Grandmother, Dolores
My neighbors and Amy's parents, Jack and Lora (my 2nd family!)
The neigbors next door, THE CHAMBERLINS (my fave peeps to babysit for!)
My sister Nikki and her family
Steve and Linda Rodgers & family, our acting family in Washington State since 1987 (Man, I missed those Pumpkin pies at Thanksgiving!).
Linda and Ron Goudreau, great friends of my parents (Linda visited me in Thailand!)
And, last but not least, my best friend Ji Young from Seoul, Korea (I miss her SO much! Patrik and I are going to meet you and Edward wherever you and Ed next visit in the U.S. Ok, Ji Young?)
Thank you all for being so great to me over these many years. I love you all!

Hooray! More RSVP's!
Linda and Ron Goudreau! They are FUN and you've never met a professional shopper until you've met Linda. Linda, on Duval, if a shop keep has a foreign accent, you can haggle. I can't wait to see what you get!
My Aunt Julie is bringing her daughter, Alicia! Alicia is very wise for her teen years, and just plain cool.
My bff Amy is bringing her hubbie Mike! Mike is the best fireside conversationalist I've ever met. He's inspiringly intellectual whilst pounding canned beer.
I'm totally psyched about the new additions to our party! Welcome, guys!
My Aunt Mel is a professional florist. I was planning on going to Albertson's and just buying a single Orchid as a bouquet. I wanted a flower wreath, but didn't know how it was going to happen. Do you know how excited I am that she offered to help? Mom said you've been wondering what I want? Totally low-pressure, no stress flowers. Maybe twine three long stemmed tropical flowers for bouquet? Flower wreath, I'm guessing experimentation? I always pictured daisies, in the school-yard style, but since I'm here, might as well go tropical varieties. Do we need to construct a wreath out of something stable to attach flowers to? That green floamy stuff? Pipe Cleaners? Should I be researching flower suppliers for you/shops? t
Tina and Patrik,, Congrats, can't wait to see you. Steve and I will be in on Thursday, and aren't planning on the camping, but will do the day trip. I will bring my supplies and we can hit up a florist for the flowers to do whatever your heart desires. Ask them about availability, if you need to order it in advance, have them get it in for Friday morning pickup..Do whatever you want kiddo, the flowers are on me... love to you both
Tina, guess we need to officially RSVP, we will be in on Thursday afternoon and leaving on Tuesday. We will be doing the daytripper thing. Counting the days, as I am sure that you are also..
